About the Role
We are hiring a Warehouse Operative who will be responsible for accurate picking, packing, checking off and putting away of parts as well as operating reach and counterbalance forklift trucks in a safe manner and assisting within the wider logistics team as and when necessary
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain a proactive, safe working environment
- Ensure administration and operation of the organisations warehouse inventory process
- Ensure timely completion of all put away and kitting activities to the highest standards
- Drive efficiency and productively within the team
- Operate forklift trucks in a safe manner
- Ensure receipt, storage and kitting of materials
- Complete cycle counts and ensure stock accuracy
- Working to kitting schedules and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space
- Complete general housekeeping activities
- Ensure that workplace audits and inspections are carried out to schedule
- Act an ambassador for the company values and adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Build and develop EHS culture as part of the wider warehouse and logistics team
What You Need
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Trained and experienced in the safe operation of forklifts, pallet trucks and other warehouse equipment
- Experience using ERP or WMS Systems
- Forklift Licence Counterbalance B1 & D1 Reach Licence
- Good Standard of English required
