The Role:

Staffline Ireland is seeking a Shunter to join our client, a well-established dairy manufacturer, on a long-term temporary basis at their site in Newtownards.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Shunting vehicles in a busy yard
• Operating a counterbalance forklift
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards on site

Essential Criteria:

• Previous shunting experience in a fast-paced yard
• Shunting licence or equivalent (Class 1 licence)
• A valid counterbalance forklift licence
• Ability to work overtime when required

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 17:00
• Friday: 07:30 - 14:30

Pay Rates & Overtime:

• £14.10 per hour
• £20.31 per hour after 37 hours worked (standard week is 42.5 hours)
• Enhanced rates for evening and weekend overtime
