Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) Advisor
Location: London sites
Reports to: SHEQ Manager

Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced Safety, Health & Environmental Advisor to help embed a positive SHE culture across projects. You'll ensure compliance, promote best practice, and support site teams in delivering safe, sustainable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific SHE plans.

• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, recommending improvements.

• Deliver toolbox talks, training, and health awareness sessions.

• Maintain records (C.O.S.H.H., incident reports, compliance logs).

• Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors.

• Monitor legislative changes and communicate updates to teams.

• Support pre-tender submissions and contribute to CSR initiatives.

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years in a similar SHE role within construction.

• Experience in inspections, investigations, and delivering training.

• NEBOSH Construction qualification.

• CSR/CSCS or equivalent safety card.

• First Aid at Work qualification.

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Desirable

• Technical knowledge of temporary works, cranes, traffic management, fire safety, and environmental standards.

• Project management or additional safety-related qualifications.

• Mental Health First Aid or BREEAM awareness.

• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

• IT proficiency (Microsoft Suite, SHE systems).
