Salary: £23.60 p/h
Hours: 37.5 hours pw / Monday - Friday
About the Role
The Equip Programme is a major Health and Social Care Northern Ireland (HSCNI) initiative to replace existing HR and Finance systems (HRPTS and FPL) with one modern, cloud-based solution. The system will transform how HR, Finance, Procurement, and related services operate across HSCNI.
We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Finance implementation of the Equip Programme within the Northern Health and Social Care Trust. You'll work closely with the Director and Assistant Directors of Finance, the regional Equip Team, and key internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of the Finance element of the Equip Programme across the Trust.
- Establish governance and performance monitoring arrangements.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, milestones, and risk logs.
- Produce reports and documentation in line with HSC standards.
- Coordinate with departmental managers and stakeholders to align deliverables.
- Support the development and updating of Trust finance policies and procedures.
- Engage with suppliers and external partners to ensure smooth implementation.
Essential Criteria
- Degree or professional qualification and 3+ years' experience in project/change management within a major organisation,
OR 4+ years' equivalent experience. - Experience leading projects across multiple departments or sites.
- Experience using recognised project methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2).
- Proven ability to lead organisational change and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Budget management experience.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport (reasonable adjustments considered).
