Programme Assistant - County Kildare
Salary: €30,272 to €36,026 per annum (pro rata)

We are currently recruiting Programme Assistants to support adults with intellectual disabilities across multiple locations in County Kildare. These roles offer a meaningful opportunity to work in a values-driven, person-centred environment with a focus on community participation and individual development.

Available Positions:

• Two x 35-hour permanent contracts (Monday to Friday)

• One x 35-hour fixed-term contract (until May 2026, Monday to Friday)

• One x 20-hour part-time permanent contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individuals in daily routines, social activities, and independent living skills

• Promote dignity, wellbeing, and inclusion in all aspects of care

• Assist in implementing individual care and support plans

• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all safeguarding and health and safety standards

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals

Essential Criteria:

• QQI Level 5 Major Award in Health or Social Care (minimum 8 modules)

• Minimum one year of experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities or autism

• Full clean driver's licence

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• A commitment to person-centred and rights-based support

Locations:
Roles available across various sites in County Kildare, in both day service and residential settings.

Working Hours:
All positions are Monday to Friday. No weekend work required.
