Production Supervisor

Warrenpoint

Permanent (Full time hours)

The Role: As Production Supervisor you will contribute to all food manufacturing activities across the operations, as designated by the management team. You will also adhere to all company's rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Main Duties

  • Managing daily production processes to ensure efficiency targets are met on each day of production
  • Setting up daily production schedules in line with labour cost targets
  • Controlling ingredient and packaging flow. Making sure yield and waste targets are met
  • Monitoring product quality standards
  • Providing regular production information and performance reports to the production manager
  • Managing team leaders in production area including setting up goals and targets
  • Ensuring all products produced according to specifications and meet all our quality requirements.
  • Minding day to day good housekeeping practices in production area to make sure waste is controlled and at minimum level
  • Liaising with other departments such as order desk and purchasing to make sure service level targets are met
  • Reporting any maintenance related issue or a potential issue to senior management team in timely manner
  • Making sure all paperwork is filled out with correct information on each production day in production area.
  • Other Key Responsibilities
  • Meet the agreed target as set for your area
  • Make sure any mix is used up - carry out the company NO WASTE policy
  • Co-operate with the team leaders on production line leaders to ensure smooth running of daily production

Requirements:

  • 2 years' experience working in a manufacturing or production environment with some supervisory or leadership experience
  • Understanding of HACCP
  • Experience of coaching staff to achieve KPI's on a daily/weekly basis
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Evidence of delivering consistent standards across all areas

Salary: £27K (based on experience)
