Production Operative (Evenings)

Our client, a leading manufacturing company are seeking to recruit a Production Operative (Evenings) to join their existing team, based at their Fivemiletown site

The Role:

The successful Production Operative will be:

• Operating the machinery in a safe working manner
• Checking products for quality on the production line and removing defective items
• Keeping machines supplied with packaging material and labels
• Maintaining \ up keeping machinery by conducting regular pre- production checks
• Reporting machinery faults to shift supervisors and maintenance staff
• Setting up the production line and making periodic changes needed to manufacture different products.
• Making minor adjustments to machine settings to improve quality and efficiency
• Providing production support, again as required, to other factories/ departments
• Keeping the machines and work area clean and tidy during the shift

Requirements for Production Operative:

• Medically fit to undertake the physical requirements of the job
• Previous experience of automated manufacturing production line and operating systems
• Adherence to and appreciation for H&S and general housekeeping standards
• Ability to work quickly to meet deadlines
• Reliable
• Works well on own initiative and as part of a team
• Patience to carry out repetitive tasks.

Hours of work:

• Mon - Thurs 4pm - 12 midnight

In Return:

• £14 - £15.50 per hr
