Our client based in County Fermanagh have a vacancy for a Mechanical Maintenance Assistant
The company has been operating since the 1970's and they are an integral part of larger group. The Role:
As the Mechanical Maintenance Assistant, you will be working in a manufacturing environment and your duties will include -
- Applying lubricants to moving parts to prevent premature wear and ensure optimal machine performance.
- Lubricating bearings, motors, chains etc.
- Replacing air and oil filters as required.
- Servicing off gearboxes
- Collecting oil samples for lab analysis
- Toping up oil reserves
- Changing oil and cleaning out oil reserves during shutdowns or planned stops.
- Performing routine checks on Pemac
- Keeping control of the oil store inventory
- Adhere to all Health and Safety in the workplace.
Hours
- Mon - Thurs 8am - 5.30pm and Fri 8am - 4pm
Experience necessary for the Mechanical Maintenance Assistant:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good attention to detail
- Proactive approach to maintenance
- Be able to meet the physical and health requirements of the role
- Forklift experience desirable
- Team player
- Awareness of Health and Safety
