Material Handler

Our client, a global manufacturer, servicing a broad range of industries, including construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, shipping, transportation, refining, energy, utilities, quarrying and mining, have vacancies for Material Handlers at their site in Dungannon, Co Tyrone.

The Role:

As a Material Handler you will

• Efficient and timely handling of all materials
• Support Production through timely and accurate delivery of Parts
• Use of PIT in a safe and efficient manner including Pallet Stacker
• Processing of Parts to fabrication received from both Cutting Shop and from Stores
• Compliance with inventory control measures
• Compliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures
• Following Standard Work procedures
• General Housekeeping Duties

Hours of work:

• 39 hours weekly
• Mon - Thurs 8am - 4.45pm, Fri 8am - 2pm

Requirements:

The suitable Material Handler will have

• Previous experience of working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
• Valid PIT license
• Understanding of Inventory Control
• Self-motivation and initiative
• Ability to work well in a team
• Ability to problem solve
• Strive towards continuous improvement
• Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities
