Job description

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a Human Resource Co-Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis- 12 months.

The role is based out of Middleton and will require own transport to travel between 2 sites on odd accassion.

Key Responsibilities

Administration

  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding activities, including drafting contracts, offer letters, and conducting reference checks.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records across HR systems and files.

  • Support probation reviews, contract amendments, and employee exit processes.

  • Assist in delivering reward and recognition programs.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Provide administrative support for recruitment, including posting job adverts, liaising with agencies, and scheduling interviews.

  • Prepare welcome packs for new hires and coordinate induction schedules.

HR Operations

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries, escalating issues when needed.

  • Maintain HR trackers and compile basic HR reports.

Employee Relations (Basic)

  • Take minutes during HR meetings as required.

  • Provide administrative support for employee relations matters.

General HR Support

  • Assist with internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to the HR Lead and wider management team.

  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of HR processes.


Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an HR Administrator, Coordinator, or Generalist role preferred.

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities.

  • Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
