Forklift driver

Staffline Recruitment is currently offering a position for a Forklift Operator for our client based in Ballymena, Glens of Antrim Potatoes.

Glens of Antrim Potatoes is a locally owned and managed supplier of potatoes. Glens of Antrim are proud to provide potatoes to the plates of families for many generations.

Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm, 5 days out of 6 (Monday - Saturday)
Overtime: Paid after 48 hours

Job Description:

The position involves operating a counterbalance forklift to safely move pallets of potatoes from storage areas into the production lines, ensuring the correct products are delivered to the right locations in a timely manner. Duties include loading and unloading pallets, maintaining clear and organised storage areas, and working closely with production staff to keep the work flow running smoothly.

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (mandatory) - experience desirable

• Must be able to read and write, use field codes, sizing, and update documents

• Good physical and mental health

• Ability to work well within a team and independently

• Must follow all factory rules and Health & Safety regulations at all times
