Job Title: Assistant Production Planner

Location: Dundalk, Ireland

Part Time: 4-6hrs per day

Salary: €40,000 (Neg.) Pro-Rata

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Production Planner to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our client's business objectives are met by effectively coordinating with multiple departments, including procurement, manufacturing, and logistics. Strong administration skills and attention to detail are a requirement for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimise stock levels and inventory to meet production schedules and customer demands.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless communication and alignment of business goals.
• Monitor supply chain processes and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Analyse production data and trends to forecast future needs and prepare for seasonal fluctuations.
• Develop and implement production plans that align with overall business objectives.
• Utilise Excel skills to manipulate data, create reports, and streamline planning processes (advanced skills preferred but not essential).

Qualifications:

• 3^rd level degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Finance or similar is preferable but not essential.
• Previous experience in production planning or a similar role within the FMCG industry is desirable but not essential.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; advanced knowledge is a plus.
