Group Modular Electrical Engineering Lead Position

Location: Dundalk

We are seeking a Group Modular Electrical Engineering Lead to oversee and manage our team of electrical engineers focused on the electrical fitout of modular units.

About the Role

This is a full-time, onsite position based in our HQ Offices in Dunleer, Co. Louth. You will report directly to the CTO/Principal Engineer.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leadership and Management: Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of Electrical engineers to execute fitout tasks for modular units.
  • Electrical Oversight: Managing the coordination of Electrical designs, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with standards, including regular clash detection checks.
  • Project Coordination: Working closely with project teams (e.g., electrical, structural, civil, procurement) to ensure efficient integration of all electrical systems.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensuring all Electrical designs comply with safety regulations, local codes, and environmental standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for improving processes, reducing costs, and enhancing quality through innovation and technology.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Electrical engineering roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity within modular construction or similar industries.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems and modular construction practices.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of safety regulations, local codes, and industry standards related to electrical and mechanical installations.
  • Desired Skills: Familiarity with modular construction techniques and BIM tools are desirable.
