They are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work within a local Public body in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh.

The Role:

As a Project Manager your duties will be:

  • Work in partnership with the Senior project Manager to lead the delivery of Projects across the Enniskillen site
  • Actively contribute to the Account Senior Leadership Team and operate in line with policies / working practices defined by the Account Director.
  • Programme management of projects to ensure movement through the project management processes.
  • Completion of appropriate official procedures to demonstrate good project management.
  • Tendering and analysis of returned tenders through to Tender Reporting.
  • Lead the delivery of Projects in line with processes
  • Projects will include the delivery of lifecycle Major Repairs with a value between £5k to £1m - refurbishment works and mechanical / electrical facility upgrades / enhancements
  • Identification of key stakeholders and development of communication strategy.
  • Prepare and maintain periodic progress updates (this will typically be monthly and quarterly)
  • Own the periodic 'maintenance' / upkeep of the SoPM in collaboration with the Head of Estates.
  • Lead the adoption of policies across the projects team and maintain the required levels of collaboration
  • Lead commercial discussions

Requirements of the Project Manager:

  • Relevant degree such as Construction Management, Project Management, APM and RICS PM qualifications. Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's Degree)
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and exhibit strong leadership, including matrix management.
  • Maintain strong lines of communication and relationship with the Senior Project Manager
  • Demonstrated skill in managing budgets and account plans.
  • Demonstrate necessary Safety Management, CDM and SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) qualifications
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
  • Proactive and results-oriented approach, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Hours of work:

  • Mon - Fri 8am - 4pm (flexibility will be required)
  • Parking
