The Client: Local Public organisation, serving local residents.

The Role:

The main purpose of this role will be to lead on the efficient delivery of the Councils new and innovative Economic and Regeneration Growth Fund. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of this key regeneration project within the Council's regeneration folio. The role will involve working cross directorate to meet corporate objectives, specifically with a regeneration brief, on the delivery of key Initiatives across the Councils commercial centres. Reporting to the Regeneration and Infrastructure Manager you will be leading on some of the Councils key projects and programmes designed to invigorate our commercial centres, to support the business community and attract investment into the Council area. Working as part of a dynamic and diverse team you will work in partnership with Public Sector bodies to secure public sector resources to leverage commercial investment to address vacancy and dereliction across the Council's commercial centres. You will provide support to the Team Manager for Regeneration and the wider Growth Service.

The post holder will provide a comprehensive and flexible administrative Business Support Service working across a range of functions/departments as required, this will include implementing and maintaining business support service standards and providing an excellent stand of customer service for internal and external customers.

Hours of work:

  • 37hrs per week

Requirements:

It is essential that applicants have a minimum of:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • - A third level qualification (for example, an HNC, HND, NVQ Level 4, Degree) or equivalent in an appropriate related discipline, e.g. Economics, Housing, Regeneration, Project Management, Architecture.

  • A recognised professional qualification in Project Management.

EXPERIENCE

  • - A minimum of four years' relevant experience in the following areas of responsibility:

  • Working experience within the field of regeneration and/or housing.
  • Experience of managing budgets of a large monetary value.
  • Project management experience.

Where applicants do not hold the qualifications as outlined in 1.1, they must demonstrate a minimum of seven years' experience as outlined in 1.3 above.

Rate of Pay: £23.55 per hour
