Job description

I am recruiting for a self-motivated and quick thinker who can juggle more than one task at any given time as you enjoy keeping busy and working in a dynamic team environment. This is a full time and permanent onsite role for a Logistics Planner who will collaborate across the business and provide the best level of customer service to import and export customers. This will see you providing consistently high levels of service as you work with a supportive team to ensure products reach customers reliably and on-time.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Planning & monitoring of tanks in and out of Ireland, including domestic tanks, in an efficient and cost-effective way including
  • Daily updating of internal computer systems with all relevant transport information
  • Working with contractors & customers
  • Dealing with customer queries and requests, ensuring customer requirements are met in all cases
  • Invoice data preparation and cost control to a sufficient level

Skills required:

  • Qualification or experience in the logistics industry preferred
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
