Data Technician (Mechanical & Electrical)

Location: Gelvin Grange, Londonderry
Duration:
Temporary (6-12 Months)
Hours:
32 Hours per Week over 4 Days
Salary:
Starting at £13.06 per hour, experience-dependent

About Us:

Staffline Recruitment Ireland, a pioneer in recruitment solutions since 1983, is excited to partner with NI Water in seeking a meticulous Data Technician to join our Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Services team.

The Role:
As a Data Technician, you will:

  • Gather and report critical data across multiple M&E service areas, such as Procurement, Mobile Work Management, Lifting Operations, and more, to monitor and enhance performance in line with NI Water's business objectives.
  • Maintain secure records of test and inspection certificates and reports, ensuring compliance with statutory, legislative, and health and safety requirements.
  • Analyze data to produce regulatory, contractual, financial, and management reports within agreed timescales.
  • Collaborate with M&E colleagues to share knowledge and ensure a comprehensive understanding of service levels.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum five GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • At least one year's experience in a role requiring advanced data manipulation and reporting skills, with proficiency in MS Excel, Access, Outlook, and Word.
  • A full driving license or reliable transport, as travel throughout Northern Ireland is a requirement.

Desirable:

  • Experience in asset maintenance management systems, MS PowerPoint, and MS Power BI.
