Business Development Manager (Mechanical Heat Recovery and PV)

Staffline Ireland are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager on behalf of a leading plumbers merchant. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career with a forward thinking, dynamic company. The Business Development Manager will be a Mechanical Heat Recovery and PV Salesperson. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling heat recovery systems and photovoltaic solutions to residential developments.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential clients and develop a robust sales pipeline.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Present mechanical heat recovery and PV solutions to clients, emphasizing their benefits and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate products into building designs.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
  • Understand the technical aspects of mechanical heat recovery systems and photovoltaic technology.
  • Explain system functionality, energy savings, and environmental impact to clients.
  • Provide technical support during the sales process and address any client inquiries.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients and generate referrals.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare reports on sales activities, leads, and conversions.
  • Analyse market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Any other duties role may involve.

Person Specification:

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Familiar with mechanical heat recovery systems and photovoltaic technology.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and customer-focused.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
