Cranswick Country Foods is a sustainable, high-quality, and ethical food production company that has built a reputation as a leader in British Food Production. A great opportunity has come up with the Finance team at Cranswick as a Financial Analyst at the Ballymena site, reporting to the Financial Accountant the successful applicant will produce Financial Statements for review by Senior Management and reporting to the Group.
Moreover, the successful candidate will assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting and provide support to the wider Finance Team as and when required. Main Tasks
- Prepare weekly profit and loss account, bridging performance against budget expectations and prior period
- Identify, analyse, and report on KPIs
- Produce and distribute weekly KPIs to key stakeholders
- Review production throughput and complete stock-takes regularly
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist with the preparation for internal and external audit
- Support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Criteria
- Accounting Technician Qualification/ Part Qualified Accountant or candidates that are qualified by experience
- Strong IT Skills, especially a strong working understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with Stakeholders across all levels
- Previous experience in FMCG would be ideal but not essential
- Previous working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Nav would be ideal but not essential
