ACCOUNTANT | TAX DIVISION |

BLANCHARDSTOWN/HYBRID | PERMANENT |

Due to immense growth, our client, based in Blanchardstown are currently searching for an experienced Accountant for their Tax and Audit division to join their team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate would be a qualified Accountant who has previous experience in financial reporting of multi-entities in a corporate business environment who has completed or is currently undertaking further studies in tax.

THE ROLE|

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a central role in the Reporting of the business during its next phase of growth on site while working closely with key business stakeholders from the Tax and Audit Teams. You will be responsible for processing financial data on their ERP system for Financial Statements and Government returns as well as completing and submitting Corporate Returns for audits to Board approval level and CRO filing.

RESPONSIBILITIES |

• Complete the processes regarding corporation tax in the internal control accounting system for eight entities
• Ownership of financial audit ensuring process and compliance are completed to company standards
• Statutory Accounts preparation
• Prepare accounts for month end reporting
• Transaction taxes & returns: VAT, RCT, Duty, Return of Trading details, CBAM, 46G
• Compliance: Transfer Pricing reporting, Rolling out new Tax requirements.

REQUIREMENTS |

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA or equivalent)
• Strong subject Matter in Tax and Audit in Ireland
• Completed or currently studying for Tax exams
• Minimum 3 years' experience in financial tax and audit accounts coordination
• Strong accounting systems knowledge as well as Workday, Concept, Excel, Google applications, Power BI.
• Financial control experience
• Experience in Multi-entity business tax account coordination is an advantage
